Text Box: Supplemental food boxes are available once per month to those who meet the qualifications of:
Meets 130% of poverty guidelines
Has a current picture identification
Has a social security card for each member of the household
Can provide proof they are residents of Greene County by showing a light bill, or rental receipt, etc.
Can provide proof of income for each member of the household (check stub, social security check stub, disability proof, child support payment, food stamps, etc.)

Text Box: The soup kitchen serves three meals per day to both the residents of the Mission as well as others from the community in need.  For the residents of the Mission who are employed a lunch box is provided upon request.

Text Box: The Mission provides assistance as an intervention to assist in preventing homelessness.  These services include assistance with rent or utility bills in order for community residents to be able to remain in their homes and have the basic necessities of survival. To receive these services, the following requirements must be met:
Application made at the Mission on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Meet 130% poverty guidelines
Provide picture identification
Present a Social Security card for each member of the household
Provide proof or residence in Greene County (light bill or rent receipt. 
Provide proof of all income for each member of the household (Check Stub, Social Security, Disability, Child Support, Food Stamp, etc.)
 
Utilities: received final notice
 
Rent: landlord complete Mission form stating amount owed and that without payment you are in danger of eviction
 
Have means to pay bill/dues next month
 
Provide proof you are actively seeking to change your situation, for example:
made application of eligible services such as food stamps, TEA 
doctors excuse if you're unable to work
 
proof of job search if you've been unemployed for more than two weeks

Text Box: The benevolent services provided have requirements which must be met in order to receive them.  In order to be good stewards of the generosity of the community we serve, we verify that the recipient of each service meets the minimum requirements for the service.
