Current Statistics

• Emergency Shelter Residents today: 48      10 children, 10 females, 28 males    

• Soup Kitchen Meals served to date:   27,056    Served since last week:  650

• Food Boxes distributed to date:  4,102

• Medical Clinic patients this month: 90     To date:  870  

• Prescriptions filled this month: 243      To date:  2250

• Individuals receiving financial assistance for utility, rent, transportation and prescription assistance: 972

Canned good drive sponsored by GCT FFA and Paragould Rotary Interact Students

 

November 15^th – 20^th is National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week

 

Monday, 16^th  ---  Community-wide fasting

Plan to join in by fasting the day or at least your lunch hour,

donating the lunch money you saved to Mission Outreach. 

You can drop it off at any 1^st National Bank drive-thru

Students from Greene County Tech Future Farmers of America and

Paragould Rotary Interact Club will make presentations to area Civic Clubs:

 

Tuesday, Nov. 17^{th ………}  Kiwanis Club

 

Wednesday Nov. 18^th.…. Rotary Club

 

Thursday Nov. 19^th………. Civitan Club

 

Friday, Nov. 20

 

Community Wide Annual Food Drive……drop off point is at City Hall in front parking lot.

A volunteer will be there to great you with a smile.

Last year, this canned-food drive raised more than 5,000 cans.

 

SOS – Soup or Salad at City Hall – 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Both for $7:00 (includes drink and dessert)

Soups:  Grandma’s Chicken n Dumplings  or  Creamy Broccoli n Cheese

 

Opportunities to serve through the Common Table

Looking for an opportunity for hands-on ministry? Come join the Common Table by providing dinner, a listening ear and an open heart to those we serve. Have you scheduled a date to participate? Sunday School classes, small group ministries – this is a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ with others.
