Some of you are aware that we’ve been having tremendous problems with our old oven in the soup kitchen. Through the generosity of friends of the mission, we have been blessed with a new range and convection oven. These two pieces of equipment greatly enhance our ability to serve large quantities of food for large numbers of people.  Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

It’s not just another chili cook-off…

It’s a Chili Rodeo!

Dust off that old cowboy hat and hitch up your wranglers for some chili cooking and tasting, mechanical bull riding, line dancing, and karaoke singing to help raise funds for the homeless and hungry in Greene County and Northeast Arkansas . Saturday, October 3rd from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the B.C. Loyd Building on the Greene County Fairgrounds, the entire family will enjoy good food, music, fun and fellowship and help raise funds for Mission Outreach of Northeast Arkansas. The competition will be fierce, but fun! For information on how you can participate as a contestant, sponsor or for tickets to the best lunch in town, contact Heather at hparson@missionoutreachnea.com or 236.8080

We have 11 children living with us.

Four of them arrived at the mission yesterday along with their parents.

These children are in need of clothing.

  • Serena wears a girl’s size 5-6

  • Nathan wears a boy’s size 6-7

  • Carmen wears a girl’s size 2-3

  • Austin wears a boy’s size 3-4

Please call Nye at 236.8080 or email her at admin@missionoutreachnea.com  if you are able to assist this young family through donations of clothing.

A BIG thank you goes out to those who donated school supplies for the many children we serve.

To First United Methodist Church of Marmaduke Vacation Bible School, one of the Eastside Baptist adult Sunday School classes and All Saint’s Episcopal:

Know there are kids in our community who are ready for their first day of school because of your thoughtful generosity. We are grateful for you!

Twenty-four All Saint’s Episcopal Church members

returned to participate in the Common Table last Sunday.

Thank you for your faithfulness in this ministry.
