Yes…you read correctly. We have 10 of the cutest children you’ve ever seen. Ages range from 9 months to 13 years of age. With all of these children under our roof it would be wonderful to have indoor activities available for them in the afternoons such as coloring books, appropriate DVD’s ….keep in mind that most of our children are six and under. Perhaps you would like to volunteer your time for story hour once a week or oversee an activity. Contact Cathy Hughes at 236-8080.
Special Needs: One of our primary volunteer van drivers had to retire due to health problems. This left a big hole. Can you give three hours of your time once a week to drive our van transporting residents and making special pick-ups such as food? You must be over 25 with no incidents on your driving record. Other Need List: We desperately need the following: canned vegetables, soups and plastic grocery bags for our food pantry. Our soup kitchen needs are eggs and spices (garlic, lemon pepper, black pepper).
