A Fresh Start….Specific Help….New Hope

Justin managed to graduate high school despite his battle with drugs/alcohol and a dysfunctional home life.  His father was an alcoholic and his battered mother could never seem to gather the fortitude to reach out for help, or provide her son with the safety he needed.  After completing high school, Justin hit the streets staying here and there until finally, even his friends began to say no.  At age 19, he checked into Mission Outreach.  He immediately bonded with Mission staff member, Kenny Bearden.  Together, they began to map out a plan of action.  “I’m ready for change no matter what it takes,” Justin stated as he left to enter in-patient treatment last week.  After treatment, Justin hopes to attend college to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a doctor.  Your financial contribution provided this young man with a fresh start, specific help and a new hope in the form of shelter, food, clothing, counsel, direction, and more.  Our Charitable Medical Clinic provided the needed blood work for entrance into rehab.  The Mission Van provided transportation to Tuscumbia , Alabama , the nearest Mission Teen Center with an opening.  Justin is just one more example of the lives that will be forever changed because you were willing to give of your time, your finances and prayerful support.  THANKS!
