Current Statistics     

  • Emergency Shelter Residents today:  31     8 children,  7 females, 16 males    

  • Soup Kitchen Meals served to date: 11,553   Served since last week:  448

  • Food Boxes distributed to date:  1481

  • Medical Clinic patients this month: 40    To date: 347 

  • Prescriptions filled this month: 154      To date:  1276       

  • Individuals receiving financial assistance for utility, rent, transportation and prescription assistance: 385

A Fresh Start…..Specific Help…..New Hope  -  that is our aim.  A weekly men and women’s support group is one component in achieving the  duty of our mission  -  Life Change.    

 

  The following are some of the comments from the women who participate.

 

"I have been able to express my feelings and to move on with life.  Knowing I’m not the only one that has problems.  The most important thing about support group is "Support."         …Patricia

 

 

“The Women’s support group has been a great part of my stay here at the Mission.  It gives me a chance to talk about things that I need to talk about and listen to others.  No matter how bad I might feel I look forward to Tuesday nights.  I think of everyone as part of my family.  We all need someone who cares about us.”  …Dawn

 

 

“This group is a wonderful thing.  It really has helped me.  When I’m having a bad day, life is going bad or I’m in a "stinkin thinkin'', mood, I can count on the group to hear me out.  They help me to make it "emotionally and mentally" another week."   …Suvanna
