We are proud and excited to have these waiters and sponsors involved in our inaugural event - and there’s still room for more! Do you know a local “celebrity” who would be willing to have fun with friends while raising money for Mission Outreach? Are you interesting in being a guest at a table, participating as an event sponsor, or volunteering on that evening? Disturbing data…Did you know?

A new study from The National Center on Family Homelessness, which found that one in 50 American children is homeless, said the disruption and isolation caused by homelessness affects kids the rest of their lives. Children experiencing homelessness have twice the rate of health and emotional problems compared to those with stable housing and they have significantly lower high school graduation rates, the report found.

Needs List

We thank God for our friends who have provided much needed items for our recently acquired property to permanently house up to four handicapped men. We are still in need of some furnishings for this home. If you have items that you would like to donate, please call Jamie at the mission. Needed items are:

  • Two twin beds
  • Three chests of drawers

 Prayer Requests

  • As many of you know, we were approved to move into Phase II of our planning process to develop a new facility. One of our first activities is to identify land suitable for building. The primary challenge is to find land in our service area but not in the flood plane. The foundation we are working with has the potential to build and furnish our new facility, however, land funds are not provided. We are looking for approximately 10 to 20 acres and ask you to join us in prayer that this land need will be met.

Thank you again for your support of Mission Outreach!
