 News to Know:

The Mission Outreach Chili Rodeo Has Been Rescheduled for October 3^rd!

The Greene County Fairgrounds are being used to house operations for some of our neighboring utility companies who are assisting with ice storm recovery.  After talking with several team and committee members, the decision has been made to change the Chili Rodeo to a fall event.  We hope you will mark October 3^rd as the new date to come out and join us for some chili cooking and tasting, mechanical bull riding, line dancing, and karaoke singing to help raise funds for the homeless and hungry in Greene County and Northeast Arkansas .

Celebrity Waiter with a Mission Kick-off!

This fundraiser, scheduled for April 4^th, is a dinner with local “celebrities” serving as waiters who can – and will – do almost anything for tips in order to raise as much money as possible for the mission. Want to know more? Waiters, volunteers and sponsors are invited to join us on Tuesday, February 24^th at the Paragould Chamber of Commerce offices located in the Old Courthouse.  Needs List

We have recently acquired property to permanently house for up to four handicapped men. We have the men to fill the home, but no furniture or household items to furnish it with. If you have items that you would like to donate, please call Jamie at the mission. Some priority items are:

• Living room furniture
• Dining room furniture
• Kitchen essentials – pots, pans, dishes, small appliances, etc.
• Towels and washcloths

 Opportunities to serve through the Common Table

Thank you for your enthusiastic response to this ministry! The next six Sundays are reserved for groups to provide food and fellowship; however, we have the many other nights available for you to choose from. Here are some dates to consider:
