SPECIAL NEED! We are in desperate need of three couches in good condition. Ours are just falling apart. Many times our couches serve as the next best thing when our beds are full.
Special Wish! I'm working with a young 22 year old single mother. In April, she will celebrate her first stint of sobriety since she was 10 years old. We're also working with her son, five years old, who has a few behavioral problems as one might imagine given his background. He is now in school and is responding favorably to a reward system. In discussion with me, he verbalized how much he missed his bicycle. Is there anyone who could fill this need? If so, please let me (Jamie) know. I think it would greatly enhance his self esteem and give him a healthy activity to channel energy.
Thank you for your support of Mission Outreach!
Please feel free to forward this report to others who might be interested in our ministry.

On February 7th, Super Bowl Sunday, our local churches, youth groups, schools and service organizations are invited to be part of Souper Bowl of Caring. This national movement was begun in 1988 by a simple prayer spoken by a pastor: "Lord, as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those who are without a bowl of soup to eat."
